Reporting prayers

Reporting Prayers
Psalms 13:1-2 'How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?'
In this prayer, David was reporting to God.
Reporting Prayers are the type of prayers you make in a way to report to God depending on the situation.
Hezekiah reported to God when he was told that he would die in 2 Kings 20:1-11
It is therefore biblical.
In such situations where you are all alone with no man to cry out to, make reporting Prayers. It could be an illness and the doctors have declared that you will die.
Just like Hezekiah, make a report of your devotion to God.
It is not manipulative, it is a way to rather reason with God (Isaiah 1:18)
Hezekiah mentioned three important things bitterly;
1. That he was faithful in his walk
2. He was totally devoted to God
3. He did what was right in God's eyes
As a result of reporting to God, God in his justice and mercy remembered Hezekiah. 2 Kings 20:6 says that fifteen years were added to his life.
As you report, make sure that you are genuine.
Serve with devotion, give, let your life be accompanied with the unconditional good. One day these good deeds will be the cause of a reward.
No wonder the Word in Gal 6:9 says, 'let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.'
Jer 30:17 'But I will restore you to healthand heal your wounds,’declares the Lord,‘because you are called an outcast,Zion for whom no one cares.’
In Psalm 6:6, David cries bitterly to God in his distress, of how he has flooded his bed with weeping and drained his couch with tears.
Prov 3:5-6 says trust in God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Verse 6 says 'In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.'
In every plan, every happening, make sure to report to God. If you are the kind of person that doesn't acknowledge God in your ways, you will miss out on divine directing and establishment.
Ask yourself, what can I report to God in a situation until He rises to fight for me?
