Tears - rev gitahi daniel,

It is important to cry in your prayers. Those that cry to God, heal.
Prophet Jeremiah in Jer 9:1 has this to say 'Oh, that my head were waters, And my eyes a fountain of tears, That I might weep day and night For the slain of the daughter of my people!'
The scriptures talk of tears a lot. This is because the tears of the saints touch God.
We'll look at why it is important to let out our agony to God through tearful prayers.
1. God sees our tears
2 Kings 20:1 -5 is our anchor scripture for this.
God sent Isaiah to Hezekiah to tell him that he would die. On hearing this, Hezekiah wept bitterly to the Lord. God took pity on him and sent Isaiah back to tell him that He would add to his days, fifteen years. Verse 5 says '......i have seen your tears, surely I will heal you....
It is good to cry because Our God won't turn his face away from that.
2. He stores our tears
Psalms 56:8 'You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?"
There is a bottle in heaven where God stores our tears. Why would tears be stored or recorded? One may ask. Tears hold accounts of our saddest moments. God will comfort us according to the same.
According to Gen 21:17-19, Haggai's eyes were opened to a well of water, after crying to God in anguish. She thought that together with her son Ishmael, they would die in the wilderness.
If Haggai had accepted the difficult situation without making efforts to seek God, she would never have seen the well.
3. He wipes our tears
Rev 21:4 says that God will wipe every drop of our tears away.
The pain in this life passes away eventually.
Rom 8:8 "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
The illnesses, rejection, difficulties and such are nothing compared to where you are headed and what you will receive. Stay focused on the reward.
4. He cares about our tears
Luke 6:21 '....'blessed are those who weep now because they will laugh later.'
If your life is set in a way that you can't laugh, due to the surrounding situations, don't worry. You are blessed. Your laughter will be great.
The Word says that He went to prepare a place for us. This place will not only be our home, it will also be a joyous home.
Ps 147:3 says that He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
Nobody can heal a broken heart other than God.
Man may tire to even offer comfort. God will never get tired of taking care of His own.
5. He turns our tears into joy
John 16:20 'Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.'
It says that our grief will turn into joy.
Eventual joy is a guarantee for the saints; those that will meet Jesus in the air.
Psalms 30:5 echoes the same. Grief endures the night, but joy comes in the morning.
Lamentations 3: 23-24 talks of God's mercies being new every morning; Great is His faithfulness.
There are no tears in Heaven. It is a city of joy. We have figured out that our tears will be wiped away and there will be more rejoicing forever.
Be comforted in the Lord.
Cry out to God in that situation and He will wipe your tears away.
Psalms 88:9 'My eyes are dim with grief. I call to you O Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you.'
According to 1 Sam 1:10, Hannah wept so much in bitterness to God. As a result she was heard.
In verse 17 of the same, Eli told her to go in peace, as an indication that her need had been met.
Crying goes to show how desperate one truly is, in their pursuit of God's face.
Begin to cry in your prayers.
