The heart of god

Do you have the heart of God?
We are called to be Christ-like. This means that God doesn't expect anything less from us, rather than to walk in the very steps of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Eze 36:26 "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
A heart of God is the heart of flesh, not of stone. A heart of flesh receives from God. A person with a heart of flesh is more likely to be used by God.
Such people become a way through which God transacts on earth.
When you have a heart of God,
1. You Find Peace
1 Cor 14:33 states that our God is an author of peace not of confusion. Peace is God's language. You cannot have God's heart and still be disorderly, or confused.
There will always be that state of inner peace for anyone with a heart of God.
2. You Feel Strong
The walk of faith can be troublesome. The Church is not a place of perfection. You will most likely face opposition in ministry, through difficult people and situations.
Think about everything that goes on in this world, that should annoy God?
What if God was to be offended by every bad thing that happened on earth?
A heart of God is strong. It outgrows disappointments and offences.
Psalms 73:26 'My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.'
3. You are Renewed
You will not have a heart of God and remain in the same old state.
Old nature has no place in the life of a believer whose heart has been softened.
4. You Find Joy
Joy is the inner true happiness. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Please note that being truly joyful does not mean the absence of challenges and hardships.
A believer with the heart of God will have nothing in their pockets, but have inner peace and happiness.
Psalms 16:11 'In your presence there is fullness of joy.'
A believer with a heart of God forgives and lets go easily. If you find it hard obeying or rather walking according to God's statutes, you should ask yourself whether you really have the heart of God.
